Matthew Symonds
Chief Finance Officer
A fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Matthew began his accountancy career in Local Government where he undertook roles including Treasury Manager. Latterly he was the Accountant for the Council’s Leisure Services department, overseeing their Leisure and Sports development and facilities.
Following the transfer of the service to an independent charity he was responsible for the financial modelling and due diligence work of the new organisation, where he became Head of Finance. Matthew then headed up the Cornish division of a large leisure complex as Financial Controller before accepting a new role with Bridge Schools as Chief Finance Officer.
